Exhibit Four

Modern Islamic Work

Education, service, leadership, and community building.

Carrying the Work Forward

Modern Islamic work in America continues through masjids, schools, youth programs, relief organizations, dawah efforts, campus groups, and community service projects. The focus is not only preserving identity, but also building institutions that serve people.

Education

Classes, halaqahs, Islamic schools, and programs help Muslims understand and practice their faith.

Service

Relief work, food drives, mentoring, and local service help connect Islamic values to action.

Leadership

Young Muslims continue the work by organizing, teaching, volunteering, and building community.

The exhibit ends by showing that Islamic work is not only history. It is a responsibility carried forward.
